An anthology for the after-hours

Every knock
has a story.

The lights are on. The house is empty. Open the archive and find out what came home with you.

Best read with one lamp left on.
No jump scares. Just the slow kind.

you home.

The House That Listened

The first rule was not to answer the knocking. The second was not to count it. By the third night, Mara understood the house wasn't knocking at all. It was using her own hands to tap from the inside of the walls.

A note from the caretaker

A small archive
of big shadows.

The Hollow is a collection of original, bite-sized ghost stories and strange little scenes. Original story scenes are drawn in SVG; vampire art is bundled locally—no image APIs, no tracking, no lost signal required.

The archive is open source. Bring a new haunting, a better way to read in the dark, or just a curious mind. The door sticks, but it opens.

Find your way in

Leave a light on for the next person

The Hollow is
open to everyone.

New to open source? Perfect. The kindest contributions start with curiosity.

01 / WRITE

Add a haunting

Write an original short story and give a new file a place in the archive.

02 / DRAW

Make a new scene

Build a hand-drawn SVG world—a lighthouse, a back stair, a very wrong moon.

03 / CARE

Improve the night

Make a page easier to read, work better on a phone, or kinder for everyone.

Small, thoughtful changes make the best ghost stories.
